ION ACOUSTIC SOLITARY WAVES IN A SELF- GRAVITATING DUSTY PLASMA CONSISTING OF WEAK NONISOTHERMAL TWO-TEMPERATURE ELECTRONS

Abstracts

Ion-acoustic waves in a self-gravitating dusty plasma consisting of warm positive  ions, weak- nonisothermal two-temperature electrons and negatively charged dust particles having charge fluctuations has been theoretically investigated using the reductive  perturbation method. It has been shown that the nonlinear propagation of  ion-acoustic waves in such a plasma can be described by an uncoupled  third order partial differential equation which is a modified form of Korteweg-deVries (KdV) equation. From this nonlinear equation, solution of the ion acoustic solitary waves in the dusty plasma having weak nonisothermal electrons is obtained. Moreover, the solitary wave solution for very weak nonisothermality of electrons in gravitating plasma is obtained which is similar to the solution in isothermal electrons. The effects of gravity, two-temperature electrons dust charge fluctuations on the ion acoustic solitary waves for weak nonisothermal as well as very weak nonisothermal two-temperature of electrons are discussed with possible applications in  astrophysical plasma.
